JLL brings home the BOMA Toby Outstanding Building Award of the Year for the category 100K-250K

JLL Property Management (PM) and Project & Development Services (PDS) worked with Wolcott Architecture and contractor Corporate Contractors, Inc. to provide architectural upgrades to the $7M renovation of 520 Broadway project owned by Vornado Realty Trust out of Manhattan, NYC and currently managed by JLL.


Working closely with the City of Santa Monica, CA and Mayor Pam O’Conner JLL was able to achieve this outstanding recognition in which aesthetics played a critical role in the award criteria. This award exhibits JLL’s continued effort to enhance the business community and public spaces in Santa Monica.


JLL General Manager, Gina Barresi worked alongside Senior Project Manager, Mitch Desser to assist in completing the renovations to the exterior plaza, interior lobby, parking and installation of LED lighting on the façade of the building. Architectural upgrades included a new public plaza to open up the building, with seating, landscaping, bike racks, lighting, etc. There were also major  mechanical upgrades such as cooling tower refurbishment, replacement of both DX compressors, and replacement of the emergency generator.
